Capital Readiness Check
Free Capital Readiness Check with every application
Before we place your funding enquiry, QAC reviews the key information available on your registered business to help assess funding readiness, identify potential issues and improve the way your application is positioned.
Depending on the application, this may consider:
- Company registration and trading history
- Turnover and cash-flow profile
- Existing debt commitments
- Banking conduct
- Financial information
- Purpose of funding
- Repayment ability
- Debtor or transaction quality where relevant
- Potential issues that could affect funder appetite
The aim is to identify the strongest funding route and highlight anything that may need attention before the application reaches a funding partner.
What you receive
A simple Capital Readiness Score out of 5, together with a short summary of the current state of your business from a funding-readiness perspective.
The check highlights the main factors currently supporting or affecting your funding position, based on the information available at the time of assessment.
The Capital Readiness Check is an internal QAC assessment designed to assist with funding placement. It does not constitute a credit approval, guarantee of funding or formal financial advice. Final funding decisions remain with the relevant funding partner.

What could it actually cost?
Example: R750,000 Merchant Cash Advance
Fixed weekly repayment option. Unsecured (a personal surety may be required), with no restriction on how the funds are used.
52 equal weekly deductions over 12 months
How it adds up: R750,000 × 1.25 = R937,500 total repayment. R937,500 ÷ 52 weeks = about R18,029 a week. This is an illustrative example. Final pricing, repayment frequency and terms depend on the business, turnover, risk profile and the relevant funding partner.
How it behaves
Funding doesn't all work the same way
Tied to an invoice
Invoice discounting (debtor finance) advances part of the value of invoices you've already issued, settled as your customers pay.
A general facility
Working capital funding isn't tied to one invoice, asset or purchase order, and is usually repaid on a fixed schedule.
Tied to an asset
Asset finance for a bakkie, truck, machine or equipment, usually repaid monthly over an agreed term.
