We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, larger text or a phone.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our target. We have not yet had the site fully tested against it, so we don't claim that every page meets it.

What we have done
- Pages are written in plain, short sentences.
- Each page has one main heading, and headings are in order, so a screen reader can move through them.
- There is a "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page.
- You can use the menu and links with a keyboard.
- We check text and background colours on every build so text stays readable.
- Text can be made bigger in your browser without the page breaking.
- Images that carry meaning have a text description.
- The site works on a phone screen.
- The page content is in the HTML, so it doesn't depend on JavaScript to show.
We don't use accessibility overlays or plug-ins. We'd rather fix the page itself.
What we know still needs work
- The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader by someone who uses one every day. We plan to do that.
- This site doesn't have an online enquiry form yet. To ask about funding, call, WhatsApp or email us.
